TOP OF THE TOWER

I didn't expect this shot to turn out the way it did. I did feel pressured to take mandatory "top of the tower" shots, even if I didn't think it at that time. I propped my arm up and waited for the two people to ascend anyway. It does feel like in trying to make a shot happen, I was well rewarded. I thought the dull blockiness of the tower would not show up so well, but as it turned out, the sunlight brings out the details in the trees behind, giving the bluntness of the blocky tower it's much needed lushness and intricacies.
