Welcome to the open submission rounds for the Special Category of the Lomography Annual Photography Awards: the TEN AND ONE 2022!
Photography, in its essence, is dependent on time. Push the shutter button and out comes a split-second representation of an ephemeral moment, never to be experienced in the same way twice. As we toast to three decades of Lomography, we're reminded of how time flies, but with a camera, we can cherish, challenge, and celebrate our past, present, and future.
For this year's Special Category of the Lomography Awards, we invite you to explore the relationship of photography with the passage of time. How do you capture its transience into a frame? What does having the power to document the now for prosperity mean to you? What role does the camera play in your personal history and milestones?
You may submit as many photographs, taken using a film camera or any Lomography Art Lens, as you would like! You have until October 31, 2022 to join. Lomography, together with our panel of judges, will select five of the best photographs to be included in our Hall of Fame and each winner will take home a special Lomography camera.
