Hi, my mane is Kevin Ekstrom I reside in the Chicago Metro area in The U.S.A. I have been involved with art in all it’s wonderful aspects from a very early age. I can remember as a child spending hours at the kitchen table with a sketch pad a few pencils and a pencil sharpener, doodling away and losing track of time. As I grew older, I became fascinated by the amazing instant photos from the Polaroid One Step camera that my mother owned. By High School I found myself enrolled in the B&W photography class, my fascination with the Polaroid long behind me, now the Nikon SLR consumed all my time. My first Nikon was a hand-me down from my uncle and till this day I consider that Nikkormat EL one of the best gifts I had ever received as a young man. Somewhere along the way I found a passion for music and found that the guitar and photography were consuming all of my free hours. I find it strange that as I grew older the same interest still consume my free time, along with my family of course.
