Hello Meay, please introduce yourself to our readers.

Could you please tell us about your photography background?

The starting point was that I liked to travel and take photos in various places. I uploaded the photos to my social media and always got comments from my friends saying that my photos are beautiful. I mostly used a smartphone to take self-portraits, and now I especially love to take portrait photos. It can always create a story. When taking photos, it's like telling a story without speaking or writing. I don't want to limit the thoughts of the viewers. There may only be one photo but if ten people are looking at them they will have different interpretations. I want them to experience it with their own imaginations.

Can you tell us about the concept for this shoot?

It's a story about lovers, but it's not a sweet couple. The two stand side-by-side in a relaxed manner. In the photos I wanted to have space between them. I would like to convey that people who love each other don't always like the same thing, but they still love each other.

What do you think about the results of the new LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 film ?

The overall tone is warm but I feel the blue color is very beautiful too. It gives a nice blue but doesn't affect the skin tone. The result is that all the colors come out as they should be (even though in reality the water is not blue at all, it's gray.) The sunlight is just the right shade of orange. The skin tones look beautiful. It's a film that can shoot anything, both landscapes and portraits.

Do you have a favourite photo taken with this film?

I like this photo because I think it accurately shows what it's like when we're tired. Just hugging our loved ones is like recharging our energy. It also looks like the woman is begging the man a bit!

Your photos have perfect light and tone. Do you have any advice about camera settings for our readers?

Thank you. Actually, the camera that I use is not very complicated. It's quite easy to use and has an in-built light meter. I usually like to underexpose. I try to use something that is easy first, anything that is difficult I don't use.

What do you like most about the LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 ?

I think the colors are quite cinematic and so beautiful. You must try it, you will definitely like the colors!

What are your hopes for the future of film photography?

I hope people who abandoned film photography come back to enjoy taking film photos again. For beginners who have never tried film, I want you to try it, then you will understand the charm of film.
