Capturing Quality Time on Pocket Film with the New Lomomatic 110 Film Camera
1 8 Share TweetIt’s often the simple moments that we cherish most. Catching up with old friends over a plate of good food, nights out, time spent with family, and even the moments when nothing much is happening at all, like when the sun is shining on our morning commute.
These are some of the occasions captured by Lomography team member @melissaperitore as she tested out the brand new Lomomatic 110 camera.
I had the chance to try out a prototype of the latest Lomography release, the Lomomatic camera along with the LomoChrome Purple and Tiger 110 pocket film and, to be honest, I believe it will be always in my bag from now on!

Some moments deserve more than a photo taken with the smartphone
Being a pocket-size camera, you don't need to carry extra bags: it simply fits in any bag or pocket and, being so light, it also allows you to take it literally anywhere you go without any extra weight! The retrò look is also something that I really love and it definitely helps starts new conversations with those that will notice it! And the pure analogue vibes with its lo-fi effects, grain and colors is absolutely something you cannot obtain with any other equipment of this size.
Snap away on night-time strolls
You never know where a night will take you, and having this tiny camera always with me allowed me to capture moments I couldn't anticipate but that I want to last forever!
Catch your loved ones at their best
Every time I visit my parent's home I always spend some time digging in the drawers through family albums. How cool is it to keep up this almost forgotten practice of recording and archiving ordinary moments as something physical? My printed mini photos will one day be someone else's find!
