The 35mm in Classic Analogue: Going All-Around with La Sardina

5

The 35mm film may not be the go-to item for serious artists, however, there is unlocked potential for photographers who wish to begin with fine art photography on a friendly budget.

Lomography’s La Sardina is a nifty little 35mm camera. Do not be fooled by its kooky-design, the La Sardina’s wide-angle lens and rewindable dial paired with its partner Fritz the Blitz Splash creates analogue wonders — from nostalgic, retro underexposures to Lomographic contrasts.

Here are some photographs taken with the La Sardina, courtesy of the Lomography community.

Go La Sardina Go \m/ one of my fave rumble prize camera before it was broke T_T even at it's peak production many lomographer hated it and sick and tired of it because too many edition of it haha oh that critisize time <3 but like Henri Cartier Bresson's quote at la sardina's book "of course it's all about luck"

The wide angle lens is nice, but my La Sardina is way too soft for my taste. However I've seen some sharp pictures by other users. I wish I had a sharp one, but it's too expensive to buy another and the actual ones have non-retractable lenses, and that's another turn off for me.

I love seeing other people's shots using it. I got one myself some years ago and I could use it only twice. Guess what? It's broken... Too fragile in my opinion.

la sardina is a good camera but it's too fragile. I had diana mini a long time ago and it's broken just after couple rolls. The shutter is broken :(
