Lomopedia: Fuji Sensia Color Slide Film

Fujifilm's Fuji Sensia was one of the film manufacturer's most accessible film stocks by price, availability and versatility. In this edition of Lomopedia, we're looking at some photos taken by our community members using one of Fujifilm's famous mass market film stocks. Let's get into it!

The consumer grade daylight-balanced slide film was available in ISO 100, 200 and 400. In 2010, the Sensia line was discontinued due to decreased demand as more consumers turned to digital photography.

Developed normally in E6, Fuji Sensia was an excellent consumer film stock with fine grain, natural colors and great detail. But the film stock became a favorite among Lomographers such as community member @anarchy who liked to cross-process it with C-41 chemicals, revealing amazing contrasts and vibrant colors of magenta, red and green. The unpredictability of the color shift when cross-processed was especially enticing for film photographers out to experiment.
